Youth
We have Sunday School classes designed for all ages from pre-school to high school. Additionally, we have a nursery available during Sunday School and worship services for children aged 0 – 2. This nursery is staffed by volunteers of the church.
Quaker Men
Quaker Men is a gathering of the men in the church who meet at least once a month for fellowship and worship. This service group rallies together and responds to identified needs of the church and community. Some projects include fundraising, local teacher support, Christmas benevolence, Quaker Lake assistance, renovations, and construction.
USFW/Friendly Workers Circle
Friendly Workers Circle invite all women to come and enjoy a night out the first Tuesday of each month (except July) at 7 pm for refreshments and from 7:00-9:00pm for our business and program meeting. They meet in the Fellowship Hall and occasionally are invited to meet in a member’s home. The Circle enjoys learning more about missionaries and their work as they fellowship together. They support many projects in the church, North Carolina United Society of Friends Women (NCUSFW) and United Society of Friends Women International (USFWI). To help support the many mission projects they enjoy catering meals and bake sales. They have a monthly card ministry where greeting cards are sent to our shut-ins, sick, college students, missionaries and their families. We would enjoy getting to know you better as we grow in our faith and service to our Lord.
Choir
Our choir is a group of talented individuals whose ministry is in music. Under Deborah Kirk’s direction, they sing songs of praise to Christ. The choir meets for practice on Wednesday nights at 7 pm.
Sunday School
We have a variety of classes ranging from an older generation to college & career. Each class determines their own curriculum and meeting times. Currently, some classes meet at 9:00 am and some at 11:15 am on Sunday mornings. These groups are an excellent source of interaction within the church and building lasting relationships while studying God’s Word.
